Making Spiced Rum isn’t easy for Flag Hill. But it’s well worth it. Made from fancy grade molasses, Spiced Rum is aged for a year in former Flag Hill Bourbon barrels. When it comes out, a heaping of hand-cut Madagascar vanilla beans, cinnamon, and grains of paradise are macerated directly in the rum for 36 hours. Then, a finishing touch of New Hampshire maple syrup. Slightly viscous, beautifully weighted notes of caramel, maple, and warm spice make this a truly special spirit.
